What I Loved

I absolutely loved this entire series, and book three was so much fun to read. The banter and relationship between the main characters were genuinely sweet and felt well developed, especially considering the dark circumstances surrounding them. Their connection was emotionally satisfying and made the story feel grounded despite the chaos.

One of my favorite parts of this book was Barbara the drugged out raccoon. Hands down one of my favorite characters of all time. She added humor and absurdity in the best way and helped balance out the darker moments of the story.

The spice in this book was definitely there and it was amazing. It felt earned, intense, and well matched to the characters’ relationship rather than thrown in for shock value. The chemistry was strong and made the romantic moments even more rewarding.

What I Didn't Love

Honestly, I don’t have much to criticize here. The book delivered exactly what I wanted as a third installment and felt confident in its tone, pacing, and character dynamics.

Final Thoughts

Scythe and Sparrow was a standout read and a really strong third book in the series. With great banter, a sweet and satisfying relationship, solid spice, and unforgettable side characters, it was an incredibly enjoyable experience from start to finish.
